We are a one-of-a-kind used bookstore with 13,500 well-curated recent bestsellers in excellent condition. 

We serve coffee, teas, hot chocolate and cold drinks. 

CATS

Since 2019, we have homed over 300 cats!

We accept applications for adoptable cats at our location through Spay Day. The cats roam free, and we ask that you watch your children and your feet. 

Seamus is our resident cat. He is always here and ready to make new friends.

While there is always at least one cat in store, adoptable cats come and go at unpredictable intervals. If your visit is primarily to meet adoptable cats, please call first.

STORE CREDIT

we do not offer store credit for your books. All store credit expired in 2019.

We prefer DEBIT or CASH!

While we do accept Visa / MasterCard, cards earning ‘points’ for consumers cost the merchant over 4% for each sale!  Please consider using DEBIT instead of earning points at small businesses. Save those points-earning cards for corporate businesses!

In fact, a 2023 Canadian class-action lawsuit against Visa and Mastercard has determined merchants can surcharge high-fee credit card transactions to cover their credit card costs. The surcharge for these high-rate credit cards at Otis & Clementine’s is 3.5%. Thank you for understanding.
